I dunno whether you remember this drama or not but you can always try it because it worth to watch.

This drama is about a girl at 15 years old found out that she had an incurable disease and it is adapted from true story happened in 1988. It was actually from a compiled diaries made into a book, a book became million copies sold even outside japan after 29 years this girl passed away.

She is previously normal 15 y/o girl who is smart at study, good at basketball and enjoying her teen. Her mum who work at health care service is the first one who noticed sumtin is wrong with her daughter as she always fall on her own, miscalculate the distance and clumsy without a clear explanation. At first she thought it was inherited from his husband who is clumsy as well but what made the doubt surfaced is when her daughter on the first night new year eve, she walked with her so called bf in that drama, Aya ( the daughter) fell on her own. What is weird is only her head is injured. She unknowingly ask the doctor

“ would not when someone fall, they will stretch out their hand isn't”

The doctor nodding

“Then why my daughter’s hand is okay?”

This brought Aya to Dr mizuno ( neurologist) and full check up was done and turn out sumtin that unbearable for every mum out there to hear is when someone tell u that your child had a disease. And that disease is incurable. Trying to at least had a hope, Aya’s mum went to every doctor that she can go and ask several opinion she can ask and even do her own research so that at least, even it is a little hope, at least someone can tell her that this disease is curable but it was not the case. I saw at this point, she was smart mother and strong. The director did a good job potraying a strong family support here.

At first, the mother and her husband were reluctant to tell Aya because it was cruel fact for just merely 15 years old girl. They think it was not right thing to do until Dr mizuno explained to them that they should not hide it. Why? Because time is the only thing Aya left now. If they hide it up until she cannot walk, Aya will blame them because did not tell her that she had this certain time to walk. If she did know, she would treasure the time left and do everything other teen do.

Her mother end up telling her truth and what breaks our heart is when Aya asked the doctor..

'Why me?'

'Why this disease choose me?'

'i am just 15 years old? Okasan, why?'

No one can seemly answer this question. Even me as a doctor, did not found the answer whenever my cancer patient ask the same. We, a doctor shamely could not answer that. We are sorry Aya.

Throughout the drama, day by day all the things Aya previously, normally do in her routine life has been cut one by one. Starting from balancing her walking, using choptick, writing, and even talking is disrupted. Imagine, you are walking finely today, but the day after that, you realized your leg cannot move, your hand cannot reach the pen you want to hold, imagine that. imagine that happen to your body.

That is why Dr mizuno said this disease unexpectedly cruel. Why? your brain is perfectly fine, you know what happen to your surrounding but your body, did not received the instruction.

This drama also stick love plot with Asou kun. Aya's classmate. I would dare to challenge that there is no man like Asou in this world. I do not think we have him. Someone who fall in love with disable girl whom he know by heart, she did not last longer.

But i believe they are exist, in a very small population. Hahah.

Asou Kun made us believed, i mean made Aya believe love can reach other planet. Because Aya thought she and Asou lived in a very different world, but Asou corrected that fact

Pardon me if i wrote to much. i think i need to stop because i am soo hungry. hAHA., I will be back with part 2. Here is the picture of Aya and Asou kun. I wonder when i will have this kind of pose. In million years i guess. Hahahahaha
